Sweet and Savory Candied Almonds
3 cups whole almonds
1/3 cup honey
6 tsp Sweet & Savory Seasoning
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 dash salt
Preheat the oven to 350º.
- On the stovetop, combine honey and 4 teaspoons of Sweet and Savory. Bring to a boil.
- In a large bowl, pour mixture over almonds and stir. Spread almonds out on a sheet pan and bake for 15 to 20 minutes our until light brown and bubbly. Halfway through, use a spatula to stir and flip almonds.
While almonds are in the oven, prepare a bowl with a mixture of brown sugar, a dash of salt, and the remaining 2 teaspoons of Sweet and Savory.
Remove almonds from oven and transfer to the bowl, giving them a good toss. The almonds should be well coated in the sugar mixture.
Lay almonds out over parchment paper to let cool.
