Stacked high with our Blues Hog Heat & Eat Pulled Pork, glazed in Sweet Asian Dragon Sauce, and piled onto a soft bun… this Korean-inspired pulled pork sandwich brings the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and just a little kick.
Blues Hog BBQ Pulled Pork
¼ cup Sweet Asian Dragon BBQ Sauce
4 brioche buns
1 tbsp salted butter
½ cup julienned cucumber
¼ cup julienned radishes
¼ cup julienned carrots
1 cup white vinegar
1 tbsp sugar
Cilantro, to taste
Prepare pulled pork according to package.
Add Sweet Asian Dragon BBQ sauce to pork, mix well, and set aside.
Add cucumber, radishes, and carrots to a medium sized glass canning jar.
Add vinegar and sugar to a small saucepan and bring to a boil.
Remove vinegar/sugar mixture from heat and slowly pour over vegetables in mason jar, set aside to let “quick pickle” for a few minutes.
Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a saucepan over medium heat and lightly toast buns.
Assemble sandwiches. Place pulled pork on bottom bun. Drizzle additional Sweet Asian Dragon BBQ sauce over pork, if desired.
Remove quick pickled vegetables from jar with a fork (let vinegar drain off) and add on top of pulled pork.
Garnish with cilantro and enjoy!
