Cowboy BBQ Tater Tot Skillet

Saddle up with Rodeo Rub and your favorite Blues Hog BBQ sauces! This skillet tater tot casserole is simple but delicious!

Ingredients

2 cups of Frozen Tater Tots

1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
-
½ cup cooked Blues Hog Sizzle Bacon

½ cup Sour Cream
-
¼ Chives
-
¼ chopped Jalapeños
-
⅓ cup Blues Hog Whiskey Blues BBQ Sauce OR (your favorite Blues Hog BBQ sauce)

2 tbsp Blues Hog Rodeo Rub Seasoning
Directions
In a cast iron skillet, brown ground beef with 2 tbsp of Blues Hog Rodeo Rub. Drain beef, remove from skillet and set aside.
Place frozen tater tots in the cast iron skillet and bake according to package
Remove tater tots from oven and top with cooked ground beef, shredded cheddar cheese and bacon.
Place cast iron skillet back into the oven and bake at 400 for 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Remove cast iron from oven and evenly dollop sour cream on dish.
Top dish with jalapeños and chives.
Drizzle generously with your favorite Blues Hog BBQ sauce. We used a combination of Whiskey Blues, Smokey Mountain, and Sizzlin Heat.
