Cajun Shrimp Pasta

Turn up the heat with this bold and creamy Cajun-style pasta, packed with Southern flair and flavor. Tender penne pasta is tossed in a rich, smoky cream sauce infused with Blues Hog Cajun Bayou Seasoning—a perfect blend of zesty spices, garlic, and a kick of heat that captures the soul of the bayou.

Ingredients

8 oz Penne or Fettuccini Pasta

½ package Shrimp

2 tbsp Olive Oil

1 small Onion, diced

1 Bell Pepper (red or green), diced

1 cup Heavy Cream
-
½ cup Chicken Broth
-
2 tbsp Blues Hog Cajun Bayou Seasoning

2 cloves of Garlic, minced

½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
Directions
Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Season shrimp with 1 tbsp of Blues Hog Cajun Bayou Seasoning.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp until cooked through and browned (about 5–7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté onions and bell pepper for 3–4 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
Add cream and bring to a light simmer. Stir in remaining 1 tbsp of Cajun seasoning. Reduce heat and stir in Parmesan. Let it thicken slightly (2–3 minutes).
Add cooked pasta and shrimp back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything in the sauce.Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve hot, topped with green onions or parsley if desired.
